Both anolite and cathoite have useful applications in correctional centers. As non toxic, biodegradable, and nonflammable products, they are extremely safe and nonhazardous. As a low-level disinfectant, anolite can be used safely on all hard surfaces. It can be applied both directly as a liquid as well as sprayed on to any relevant surface without danger to any person. The catholite can also be used as a detergent in the laundry section. And additionally, anolite can be used safely as a prewash for fresh produce to reduce transmission of food borne illnesses.

Anolite is completely non toxic as well as being fully biodegradable, it is truly a natural "green" product.
